ABOUT RICHARD

I am an Isle of Wight based Chartered Architectural Technologist and Building Design Consultant with over 30 years’ experience working both for South Coast based RIBA and CIAT Architectural practices and as a sole practitioner. Between 2003 and 2014 I was a founding owner and director of ermc Limited, a local Chartered multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, heading the conservation and related design commissions and the majority of domestic client commissions (one-off houses, small housing schemes, refurbishments, conversions and extensions). 

 

I aim to continue to offer a high quality yet personal support to clients undertaking a range of residential and commercial projects both on the Island and across the South Coast.

 

I have found that many of my private clients have never procured a building project before, but with my guidance the experience can be both exciting and rewarding.

 

My role will be to assist my clients in the realisation of their building aspirations through quality design and understanding of their needs. The brief and content of each project is different and I will deliver a bespoke solution that reflects my client’s taste, needs and budget.
