House extension and

new annexe, Whitwell

This project, completed in early 2016, saw a two storey extension and fully glazed timber entrance porch added to an early C20 Edwardian country house. Reflecting the style and materials palette of the original, the additional accommodation included a new garden room, utility and master bedroom suite.

The project also included a large, oak framed double car port and garage, with annexe living accommodation over.

A full architectural service was provided, from the initial survey and concept design; obtaining the necessary Planning and Building Regulations consents; through the detailed design stage to tender invitation, tender evaluation, contract execution and administration, and project closure.
